American Hall of Fame singer, and pianist, Jerry Lee Lewis, died of pneumonia on October 28, at the age of 87. He was best known for his hits, "Great Balls of Fire", High School Confidential, and "Breathless". His energetic performances on songs, helped install rock’n’roll, as the dominant American pop music of the 1950s. A December 1956 recording session, with Lewis, Perkins, Cash, and Presley, – nicknamed the “Million Dollar Quartet”, – became a seminal moment in rock history. During his career, he recorded 40 studio albums. In 1986, Jerry Lee Lewis was inducted, into the rock’n’roll Hall of Fame. In 2022, he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. American literary agent and author, Lucianne Goldberg, died on October 26, at the age of 87. She was a key figure in the impeachment of Bill Clinton. She advised Monica Lewinsky's confidant, Linda Tripp, to record Lewinsky's phone calls, about their affair. American politician, and Former Defense Secretary, Ash Carter, died from a heart attack on October 24, at the age of 68. He led the Defense Department, from February 2015, to January 2017. American television producer, Ben Feigin, died on October 24, at the age of 47. American actor and singer, Zuri Craig, passed away on October 21, at the age of 44. He rose to fame on the 10th season of America's Got Talent, as part of a singing duo with Jeffrey Lewis. As an actor he has appeared in films, such as A Madea Christmas, and Madea’s Big Happy Family. American college football coach, Vince Dooley, passed away on October 28, at age 90. He coached the Georgia Bulldogs for 25 years, and won the most football games in school history. Vince Dooley was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1994.
