Haiti’s Prime Minister Ariel Henry was forced to land in Puerto Rico after being denied entry to the Dominican Republic as gangs shut down Haiti’s international airport. The airport was closed after gang leader Jimmy Cherizier launched a coup against the Prime Minister. Cherizier, who also goes by the name “Barbecue,” has threatened to start a civil war that will lead to a genocide if Ariel Henry remains Haiti’s Prime Minister.
