Heightened political activity and speculation have gripped Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi with the Election Commission (EC) completing the hearing of arguments in the case against chief minister Hemant Soren, under the disqualification clause of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, and expected to deliver its verdict soon.
On Wednesday, AAP's political affairs committee (PAC) met under the chairmanship of party's national convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. The committee passed a resolution condemning the alleged misuse of central probe agencies and called out the BJP’s attempts to poach AAP MLAs by offering them crores in cash.
