Trump Joins TikTok, App He Tried To Ban As President | Subscribe to Firstpost
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has joined TikTok, the Chinese-owned social media platform he previously tried to ban while in office. Trump joined the popular video-sharing app as he is ramping up his 2024 presidential campaign activities. His launch video on the platform showed him greeting fans at a UFC event. Trump's account, named President Donald J. Trump, gained more than three million followers within hours of joining. This comes as the US has passed a new law that forces ByteDance to sell TikTok by next year, or the app could face a ban in the country.
