Many individuals with even a slight interest in science and astronomy have pondered the question, "Is there life beyond Earth?" However, the reality is that no concrete evidence of extraterrestrial life exists. Nevertheless, humans have an inherent desire to seek out new discoveries, and therefore the search for potential life forms continues. If there is no evidence of life in our solar system, then it is reasonable to expand the search to the nearest star system. The focus of this inquiry will be whether or not signs of life are present in the closest star system, Proxima B, or if it is yet another barren and lifeless environment, much like the billions of other star systems in the universe.
