I need to finish running the pipe down the hill, which is the above ground portion of the install. I continue down the hill with a 1/4" per foot of drop until it can turn sharply downward at the wye fitting, where the generator will live. I decide to support the pipe with a combination of braced T-posts and wooden posts set in concrete. The pipe brackets are welded onto the T-posts by a poor excuse for a welder using 6011 and 6013 rods. Finally we are able to open the valve and see how much water we get. It's pretty impressive!
