The Sun has perpetually been a subject of interest for astronomers all over the world. Now, a new development has confounded scientists. An enormous portion of the Sun broke off of its surface and created a tornado-like swirl around its North Pole. Though scientists are trying to examine how this happened, the video of the development has startled space scientists. The unusual phenomenon was captured by NASA's James Webb telescope. Last week, the video was shared on Twitter by a space weather forecaster, Dr Tamitha Skov.
