The presidential Candidate of the peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar’s campaign rally in Anambra state on Thursday has generated mixed reactions on social media especially after the former Vice President during the rally called for the support of the South-East, saying he is the region’s surest route to the presidency.
Ahead of the meeting, Atiku Abubakar, met with the governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo. The meeting took place at the government house in Awka, the states capital. Soludo welcomed Atiku endorsing him as one of the two front runners in the presidential race.
In another development, on Thursday, the Abuja Kaduna Train crushed a principal Accountant with the Finance Department at NTA Channel 5, Selimota Idowu Suleiman at the ChikaKore axis of Kubwa, in Abuja. Selimota was on her way to work when the incident occurred at about 10am. It is reported that Selimota attempted to cross the rail line as the Abuja Kaduna train was advancing on high speed.
Finally, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s highly anticipated docuseries, ‘Harry & Meghan’ which premiered last week, has got many fans and critics of the Royals talking. One of the topics highlighted in Volume 1 of the Docuseries was how Harry and Meghan cared for their little ones with the help of their nanny Lorren Khumalo who is from Zimbabwe. A picture of Khumalo with Baby Archie tied to her back, a tradition well practiced in Zimbabwe has made the rounds of social media .
