Discover St. Cloud Florida Podcast With Jeanine Corcoran Broker For The Corcoran Connection | Episode 1 – Source: https://www.thecorcoranconnection.com/communities/st-cloud-florida/

Welcome to the inaugural episode of Discover St. Cloud Florida. Your host will be Jeanine Corcoran, broker for The Corcoran Connection. Jeanine will be joined by Kristin Macari owner of Studio Nine 13, a video production company and a realtor with The Corcoran Connection, and the daughter of Jeanine. They are residents of Saint Cloud, Florida.

Kristin started by saying that we thought it very fitting that we should try out a podcast to let people know about the awesome town that we live in, St. Cloud, Florida. She asked Jeanine, what is it that you do?

Jeanine replied, I'm a broker for The Corcoran Connection, which is a real estate company located in St. Cloud, Florida. I have lived in St. Cloud Florida since 2005. Kristin added that's awesome, but you've been an Osceola County resident since 1987.

Jeanine added that the podcast is not all about real estate. We want to let everyone know about the town and the community and what's going on. So, with that said, here are all the events happening in Saint Cloud this month.

A Fall Festival is happening on October 8th – 10th which will be held at the Ranch of St. Cloud. They will have concerts, pumpkin patches, horse rides, a petting zoo, a giant slingshot, hayrides, tons of local merchant vendors, which is awesome. I love that they're including the local people.

Next up, we have the Partin Ranch Corn Maze which will take place between Oct. 9th – November 7th. The Partin Ranch is located at 5601 N. Canoe Creek Rd Kenansville. And, on Halloween, for kids aged 3-12, if they come dressed in a costume, their entry is free. The Partin family is a big family in Osceola County that's been around forever. So, it's nice that they do that, that they participate and help out.

Then, on October 14th & 15th, we have what’s called the “Dive In Boo!-Vie. Hocus Pocus will be the movie on the night of the 14th and Insidious on the night of the 15th. It will be held at the Chris Lyle Aquatic Center on 17th Street.

On October 16th, we have Pinktoberfest for those who have breast cancer. Remember to wear pink to show support. There will be an event downtown St. Cloud with Pink Heels. You can register a team to do a fire truck pull. This is a great event to help raise awareness as it is Breast Cancer month. Cheers to St. Cloud for doing this!

On October 22nd and 23rd, and then again on October 29th and 30th, we have the Trail of Terror put on by the Parks and Recreation at Peghorn Park. Admission is $10 per person. The Trail of Terror is like Halloween Horror Nights.

October 24th at 10:00am there is “Painting With A Pumpkin” at the Chris Lyle Aquatic Center. Admission is $5 per person. Apple cider and pumpkin donuts will be served. This sounds like a great event for the young ones.
And then don't forget, in downtown St. Cloud, the last Wednesday of every month, we have the market event. And just this week they had over 150 vendors out there, and it's just going to get bigger as we get closer to the holidays. It's put on by the downtown businesses and they just do such an excellent job.

New York Avenue, for those of you who don't know about St. Cloud, Florida, is the main downtown street and they have it blocked off. They have the lights and some food trucks, but we also have our local businesses that serve food like 10th Street Produce.

October 30th from 10am – 1pm we have what’s called “Monster Mash”. This event is put on by the St. Cloud Ranch on Jones Rd. Admission is $5 per person and kids ages 2-13 are welcome. They will have a Halloween dance, trick or treating, games, a costume contest for the kids, adults, and group entries.

Also, the St. Cloud downtown businesses will be giving out candy for the trick or treaters on Saturday night, October 30th from 5 – 7pm. Then, at 8:00pm in front of the Phyre Brewery and Tavern, there will be the “German Witches Dance Competition”. At 9:00pm, again in front of Phyre, they will have a Ghost Tour. And then to end the night at the Twin theater downtown St. Cloud on 10th street the movie “2000 Maniacs” will be playing at 10pm for those 18 and older.

And finally, Friday, November 5th there will be The Great Pumpkin Smash from 6 – 8pm at the landfill on 10th street. It’s a fun way to get rid of your pumpkins. Don’t trash it, smash it!

We hope you enjoyed our inaugural Discover St. Cloud Florida podcast. We’re going to be doing this on a weekly basis, covering different things throughout the month. We’ll be your resource for keeping you in the loop on different events, stories, and real estate happenings in Saint Cloud, Florida!
