The Truth About Gaza Aid Airdrops: Why Hunger Remains
Air drops of aid are back in Gaza—but they’re a desperate move, not a real solution. The World Health Organization warns malnutrition has hit alarming levels, with tens of thousands of women and children urgently needing treatment. Israel has introduced daily military pauses to allow minimal humanitarian aid, yet aid groups and Palestinians say it’s simply not enough. Starvation continues, and injuries from falling aid boxes have been reported. Experts and aid organizations call for a full ceasefire and open borders to deliver the essential food and medical supplies Gaza desperately needs. At least 133 people have died from starvation in Gaza, more than half of them children. The Australian prime minister, Anthony Albanese, accused Israel of flouting international law by blocking aid into Gaza and warned the country was losing support internationally. “Quite clearly it is a breach of international law to stop food being delivered which was a decision that Israel made in March,” he said on Sunday. Watch this short to understand why airdrops alone won’t end the hunger crisis in Gaza. Please share to raise awareness. Stay tuned. Remember to like and subscribe for more news and updates!
